Lukashenko to appreciate development of electric transport in Belarus
The head of state intends to comprehensively assess the industrial sector of Belarus. The plans include a visit to Belkommunmash, an audit of the creation of an electric bus cluster with the participation of MAZ, as well as an analysis of energy consumption growth after the launch of the nuclear power plant.

Alexander Lukashenko intends to give a comprehensive assessment of the development of electric transport in our country. This was stated on the air of the TV channel “Belarus 1” by the head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Krutoy.
Before the end of this year, the Belarusian leader plans to personally get acquainted with the state of affairs and results of work at a number of large enterprises of the industrial sector of the country.
An interesting visit is planned to our leading manufacturer of electromechanical transport - Belkommunmash. Many decisions have been made in recent years on the development of pilot cities, their transfer to electric buses - Zhodino, Shklov, Novopolotsk. To replace part of the route transportation between Minsk and satellite cities with electric buses, plus the prospects for the development of our electric bus cluster, because MAZ is also engaged in such types of equipment, the Stadler plant is also involved in this work, said Dmitry Krutoy.
In addition, Alexander Lukashenko intends to study in detail the overall progress in solving the strategic task of increasing domestic electricity consumption, which is directly related to the release of the Belarusian NPP to its planned production capacity and its full inclusion in the unified energy system of the republic.
Dmitry Krutoy also drew attention to the fact that the production of electric vehicles is an extremely promising direction. The huge demand from partners, especially in the Russian market, opens up large-scale export prospects for Belarus, so the Head of State intends to give a comprehensive assessment of the development of this industry.
