The European Union bought a lot of goods from Belarus, and then resold them to Africa and Asia. Now we sell directly. Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov said this in an interview with RIA Novosti, the text of which is published on the website of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, writes sb.by.

The minister said that after the sanctions, Belarus actually redirected its export flows to other countries and increased in the money supply to exports by somewhere between 30 and 40 percent
- At the moment, exports per year to the European Union, if it reaches half a billion, will be a very interesting result. It will probably stop somewhere on that bar. It turned out that the European Union bought a lot of goods from us, and then resold them to Africa and Asia. Now we're selling directly. Who got worse? Just them. They profited from it, received their interest. And that forced us to trade directly. As our President says, sanctions are not only problems, but they are also a time of new opportunities. Here we go.
According to Maxim Ryzhenkov, Belarus has balanced trade turnover:
- We refocused and found new markets. 27 billion is exports to Russia alone. In China — 2 billion, in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Kazakhstan, like Uzbekistan, exports more than to the European Union. There are more exports to India now, to China, to Indonesia. Even Afghanistan already has more exports than the entire European Union. Ryzhenkov: Europeans are taking steps to resume relations with Belarus
