This language promotes mutual understanding, expansion of educational, scientific and interhuman contacts. It's an indisputable fact. Therefore, I ask my colleagues to support the activities of the International Organization for the Russian Language. The organization has favorable prospects. I am sure of this, given that there are about 300 million people in the world who speak this language to varying degrees.”.
At the same time, it is extremely important to preserve a careful attitude to the linguistic and cultural diversity of the CIS countries, show due respect for the history, traditions, culture of all peoples, as well as search for more effective forms of cooperation in the humanitarian sphere to bring our peoples closer together.
