President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took the initiative to develop the CIS Development Strategy until 2035. He stated this at a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State in Turkmenistan, sb.by reports.

At the end of last year, it amounted to about $ 40 billion, and for seven months of this year it grew by 10 percent. Significant experience has been gained in establishing joint ventures. For example, Kazakhstan’s portfolio of industrial projects with the participation of the Russian Federation includes 178 projects and initiatives worth $61 billion, of which 124 have already been implemented, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev explained. Tokayev noted the important role of the Russian language in the CIS
