Trump called the deal with Russia on diesel the right step
According to the President, the agreement is beneficial to the American people, and European countries continue to purchase Russian energy.

US President Donald Trump said that the decision to conclude an agreement with Moscow on the supply of diesel fuel was correct and beneficial for the Americans. According to him, European countries also continue to purchase Russian energy. This is reported by TASS.
The European Union paid Russia $250 billion for energy, but the Fake News Media doesn’t want to even come close to this story. I made the right choice for Americans, Trump tweeted.
Earlier, the head of the US Treasury Scott Bessent noted that European states are hypocritical, criticizing the agreements between Washington and Moscow. He stressed that since the beginning of the conflict, the EU has transferred more funds to Russia than to Ukraine, since it cannot give up Russian energy resources.
On October 9, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the supply of petroleum products. Russia has confirmed its readiness to supply oil and diesel to the US market, as well as to world markets. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that Moscow removes restrictions on diesel exports ahead of schedule and plans to increase the volume of deliveries to 3 million tons per month. Washington withdrew from sanctions the supply of Russian diesel fuel until April 2027.
