Trump proposes to rename Atlantic or Pacific Ocean
He said he would not change the name of the Mississippi River because he loved it.

US President Donald Trump has announced plans to rename the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans "Trump's Ocean" or "Ocean of the Americas" before the end of his presidential term. The corresponding statement he made at a rally in Tennessee, reports TASS.
“We need an ocean. So I was thinking about either the Atlantic or the Pacific. We'll call it the Trump Ocean or the Ocean of the Americas. Something like that. We need to do that before I leave. I think we should have an ocean and we need a great river. But I'm not going to change the name of Mississippi. I love Mississippi, the White House chief said.
The American leader also reiterated the possibility of renaming the Strait of Hormuz in the Strait of Trump. He has already signed executive orders under which the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario were renamed the American Gulf and Lake America respectively. The orders change the way geographic features are mentioned on federal maps, but Trump’s successors could overturn the changes.
