Trump: US will not strike Iran before congressional elections
According to the President, the blockade of Tehran remains in force: last night through the Strait of Hormuz passed 22 million barrels of oil, while the export of Iranian energy completely stopped.

The United States does not intend to strike Iran before the midterm elections to the US Congress, which will be held on November 3. This was stated by US President Donald Trump in his social network Truth Social.
“I want to make it clear to everyone that while Iran is in a very bad position both economically and militarily, and although the blockade will remain in full force and oil is flowing through the Strait of Hormuz in record volumes, we will not attack Iran at any point until the midterm elections, which will be held in the United States on November 3,” he wrote.
Trump cited data that 22 million barrels of oil were transported through the Strait of Hormuz last night, with “no barrel coming to or from Iran.”.
The U.S. president said Iran will never have nuclear weapons.
