Belarus to create unified register of freight forwarders – presidential decree
The owner and operator of the Unified Register of Freight Forwarders will be the Transport Inspectorate. The resource will contain information about participants in the market of freight forwarding services.
A unified register of forwarders is being created in Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko signed the decree. The state information resource will appear before April 1 next year.
Owner and operator – Transportation Inspectorate. The decree fixes requirements for forwarders, there are mechanisms for including information about them in the register, as well as exceptions from it for violation of established requirements. Including information and making changes - on a fee basis (ten and one base value, respectively).
From September 1, 2027, being in the register will become a prerequisite for activities in the freight forwarding services market.
