The British defense Ministry said that Russia has no plans to attack NATO
A British official said London does not believe Vladimir Putin is seeking a direct confrontation with the alliance.

A source in the British Ministry of Defense told the Associated Press that Russia is not going to attack NATO. The official, who asked to remain anonymous, said London had concluded that President Vladimir Putin was not seeking confrontation with the alliance. This is reported by RIA “Novosti”.
The Russian leader has repeatedly explained in detail the lack of plans to attack the countries of the alliance, but Western politicians continue to intimidate their population with an imaginary threat to divert attention from domestic problems.
The Russian side previously expressed concern about the buildup of the bloc’s forces near its borders. The Russian Foreign Ministry said it was open to dialogue with NATO, but only on an equal basis and on condition that the West abandons the course of militarization of the European continent.
