In the Parliament said about the lack of funds for military salaries

The Ukrainian budget does not have enough money to pay salaries to servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine even for two months. This was stated by Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Vadim Ivchenko, reports TASS.

“In Ukraine, there is not enough money for military salaries even for two months. We have a budget disaster. We need changes in the budget and partner assistance to at least close this hole, said Vadim Ivchenko.

According to the deputy, the financial situation remains extremely difficult against the background of a multi-year budget deficit. Kiev has to look for additional sources of funding, as its own resources are almost exhausted.

Earlier, Zelensky said that the lack of funds has become one of the main challenges for the country. According to him, the defense budget deficit is about 27 billion dollars.

The total budget deficit of Ukraine, according to the latest estimates of the authorities, reaches about 57.4 billion dollars. To cover the costs, Kiev expects changes in the budget legislation and further financial support for foreign partners.
