Geriatric service in Russia does not cover all elderly patients
The Russian geriatric service is not yet able to cover all patients seeking help. This was reported by the chief freelance geriatrician of the Ministry of Health of Russia Maxim Kabanov at the All-Russian Expert Forum on the Preservation of Cognitive Health. According to him, the provision of citizens with specialized specialists is now 46% of the standard, and by the end of 2026 this figure may decrease to 32%.
