In Zaporozhye region, 1,487 pensioners receive a supplement to the pension for dependents. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.
Payment is due to both working and non-working recipients of an old-age or disability insurance pension. It is prescribed for children under 18 years old, full-time students under 23 years old, as well as some other relatives.
The main condition is the actual maintenance of the relative in the absence of sufficient income. Supplement is prescribed for each dependent, but not more than three.
Payment can be made through public services, the client service of the OSFR or MFC.
