16 people on federal wanted list detained in Voronezh region

For two days in the Voronezh region guards found and took into custody 16 citizens listed in the federal wanted list. On Monday, October 19, was informed in the press service of the regional Department of the FSIN.

The Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Voronezh region published the results of the All-Russian interdepartmental operational-preventive operation “Rozysk”, which was conducted in the region on October 14 and 15. The officers of the operational units together with the police carried out a number of activities.

As a result, it was possible to determine the location and detain 16 people declared on the federal wanted list. Among the detainees was a citizen wanted by the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Saratov region.

Officers checked 146 addresses where suspects may have been hiding. The search actions involved 95 people - representatives of operational units, the penitentiary inspection, special accounting units, the special purpose department "SKIF" of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the region, as well as employees of the internal affairs bodies and bailiffs.

Such interdepartmental operations make it possible to effectively identify persons evading sentences and ensure the inevitability of execution of court decisions.

Earlier it was reported that in correctional institutions of the Voronezh region 307 people sat at desks.
