21 meters to the top of the cross: in Radishchev, the temple under construction found a central dome

In the working village of Radishchevo, Ulyanovsk region, one of the key stages of the construction of the temple in honor of the Feodorovsk Icon of the Mother of God took place. A central dome weighing 2.7 tons was installed on the building, crowned with a two-meter cross.

Before the start of the installation work, the clergy performed a prayer rite and consecrated the dome with a cross. After that, the builders started installing the structure.

The central dome will be the largest in the architectural ensemble of the temple. Its weight is 2.7 tons, and the height of the cross installed on it reaches two meters.

After the installation, the total height of the building together with the cross was 21 meters.

The installation of the central dome was an important stage in the construction of an Orthodox church. Thanks to this, the building acquires recognizable architectural outlines.

However, construction work on the site has not yet been completed. Ahead of the interior decoration of the premises, install bells and improve the surrounding area.

Thus, the construction of the temple of Theodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God in Radishchev continues. The timing of the full completion of the work is not yet specified.
