The decision of the court was preceded by the unanimous verdict of the jurors who found the defendant guilty of a crime under part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberate infliction of serious harm to health, entailing the death of the victim), October 15, 2026. The state prosecution was supported by the prosecutor's office of the city of Usinsk.
It was found that in September 2025, the convict, while in the house on Vozeyskaya Street in Usinsk, inflicted several blows to his partner with his hands, causing serious harm to health, from which she subsequently died.
During the investigation and trial, he did not admit his guilt in what he did, putting forward his own version of what happened. On the basis of the totality of the evidence presented by the prosecution, by the verdict of the jurors, he was unanimously found guilty of the incriminated crime.
The court sentenced him to nine years and nine months in prison, serving in a high-security correctional colony. The investigation in this criminal case was carried out by the investigative department for the city of Usinsk of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Komi.
