48 athletes will represent the Kherson region at the Festival of the Peoples of the South of Russia in Dagestan

From October 30 to November 1, Dagestan will host the Festival of Culture and Sports of the Peoples of the South of Russia, which will unite sports, traditions and culture in one program. Delegations from 19 regions will come to the republic, and the Kherson region will be represented by a team of 48 people.

Kherson athletes will perform in nine disciplines: volleyball, mini-football, weightlifting, fijital basketball, archery, sports programming, armwrestling, tug of war and sambo. In addition, the Kherson region will bring to Dagestan not only athletes: an employee of the Ministry of Sport of the region, soloist of the Kherson Regional Philharmonic Anna Boginskaya will come to the festival stage – this is a separate reason for pride.
