Petersburgers romantically celebrated the Day of harvesting autumn leaves

In St. Petersburg officially came the golden autumn, and with it came the most poetic holiday of the season – the Day of harvesting autumn leaves, which is celebrated on October 15. On this day, Petersburgers are recommended to get out for a walk in one of the city parks. For this, the Summer Garden, Pavlovsk or Elagin Island is perfect, where it is especially beautiful now.

From bright foliage, you can not only collect a classic fake, but also make a durable decor for the house: for this, the leaves are stabilized in a solution of glycerol. The resulting compositions can be glued to the walls or make autumn bouquets from them to decorate rooms, adding a golden pore to the mood space.
