Last night, the thermometers in the city dropped to zero. Today in St. Petersburg officially began the first frost.

The morning met the townspeople with white frost. In gardens, parks and squares, flowers, leaves and grasses were covered with a thin ice crust. The breath of nature seemed to freeze, reminiscent of the illustration to the fairy tale of the Snow Queen.

Despite the cold, October still pleases with rich autumn colors. According to the Committee on improvement, on the streets of the city safety and planned cleaning provided 602 units of road equipment and 890 manual workers. Red, like maple leaves, cars brought order.

Despite the first frosts, Petersburgers should not forget to enjoy the last bright days of golden autumn.
