In Kaliningrad, the anniversary, tenth tournament in sambo and hand-to-hand combat was held. The competition is dedicated to the memory of coach Alexander Nedwiga. This was reported in the Ministry of Sport of the Kaliningrad region.

The tournament turned out to be large-scale: athletes competed on four carpets in three disciplines. For 10 years, this event has become one of the most significant in the sports life of the region. Alexander Neviga considered sambo and hand-to-hand combat as a link between generations. Today his work is continued by his daughter and students.

The name of the tournament “Harza” was not accidental. On the one hand, harza is an agile and fearless forest marten, personifying the qualities of a fighter. On the other hand, this was the name of an ambitious sports club that once brought up young people in Gusev.
