Public space "Welcome to the Lake District" will be landscaped by the end of 2026
Specialists of the Housing and Utilities Committee and the Regional Competence Center visited the “Welcome to Priozero” facility. It covers the station square of Priozersk and the Yaguzhinsky Square. Recall that this object is landscaped in the framework of the all-Russian competition of the best projects to create a comfortable urban environment of the national project “Infrastructure for life”, the press service of the housing and communal services Committee reported.

The project was developed taking into account the proposals and sketches of residents of Priozersk. It reflects the historical and cultural uniqueness of the city. In the park named after Yaguzhinsky, a multifunctional space is created. There will be two walking routes. Historical - with information stands about sights. And a picturesque ecotrope with recreation areas.
Special attention will be paid to the road situation. Circular traffic will be reorganized and supplemented with measures against chaotic crossing of the roadway.
The work is planned to be completed in 2026. The new public space should become the hallmark of Priozersk and a comfortable place for walking and rest.
Earlier, “MK in Leningrad region” said that the public area in the Sverdlovsk city settlement will be landscaped for 37 million rubles.
