The inner core for life: in Staraya Russa recruits gave an oath to the Motherland

In Victory Park, the solemn taking of the military oath by recruits took place. The head of the Old Russian municipal district Andrey Muromtsev in his MAKS-channel stressed that the young people not only became soldiers, but assumed obligations to protect the Fatherland.

The date of the event was not chosen by chance - it refers to the legendary military parade on November 7, 1941 on Red Square. Then, in the most difficult days of the war, when the enemy stood at the walls of Moscow, the grandfathers and great-grandfathers of the current defenders walked on the pavement, showing the whole world strength of spirit and readiness to stand to the end. Their courage, the head of the district emphasized, remains an example for all subsequent generations.

Andrey Muromtsev shared his personal experience: he also once stood in the ranks and took this oath. According to him, the oath is not a formal ceremony, but an inner core that remains with a person for life.

In his parting speech to the new recruits, the head of the district reminded of the importance of remembering their relatives, their small homeland and the people who entrusted them with the security of the country.
