Released trailer for the film adaptation “Chronicles of Narnia” from Netflix

The first trailer for the film “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Wizard’s Nephew” was released by Greta Gerwig, who previously directed “Barbie” and “Little Women”. The film became a new adaptation of the fantasy series Clive Staples Lewis.

The film is based on the book “The Magician’s Nephew”, the sixth in the order of publication and the first in the internal chronology of the series. It is dedicated to the emergence of Narnia. Digori Kirk and Polly Plummer discover a magical world thanks to the magic of Digori’s uncle, Andrew.

The duration of the trailer was 2 minutes 41 seconds. Filming is over. It played Daniel Craig, Meryl Streep and Emma McKay. Craig played Uncle Andrew, Streep voiced the lion Aslan, and McKay played Jadice, the future White Witch.

The authors of the music for the film are Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, who previously worked with Gerwig on Barbie. For the album, they co-wrote three songs, including "I'm Just Ken" and "Dance the Night", and co-produced five, including "What Was I Made For?".

Ronson's other works include "Shallow" from "A Star Is Born," Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" and "Rehab," and "Uptown Funk," recorded with Bruno Mars.

The film is scheduled to premiere in theaters on February 12, 2027, and will be released on Netflix on April 2.

The Chronicles of Narnia series by Clive Staples Lewis consists of seven fantasy tales about the birth, history and death of the magical land of Narnia, where children from the ordinary world get through magic.
