Muscovites advised to change to public transport because of the rain

The Department of transport of Moscow recommended drivers to use public transport because of the rain, which, according to forecasts, will go throughout the day on October 14. The message was published in its channel in the messenger “Max”.

“Due to weather conditions, the journey by car may take longer. If possible, use public transport, the message says. Drivers were also urged to be careful and not be distracted while driving.

According to the department, in the afternoon we expect traffic difficulties on the highway Enthusiasts near the Vladimir overpass, on the TTK in the Savelovsky and Tula overpasses, as well as in the central part of the city, within the Garden Ring.

On the eve of the leading specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Evgeny Tishkovets warned that October 14 will be the rainiest and coldest day of the week in Moscow. According to him, the air temperature will not exceed plus 7-10 degrees, and for the day will fall to 18.5 liters of water per square meter.

On Thursday, October 15, precipitation will continue, but gradually weaken, the weather forecaster said. In the afternoon, the temperature will rise to plus 10–13 degrees.
