ALROSA will sell a lavender diamond in the shape of a heart under a special program of investment diamonds, said the head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev.

“It will be sold under the investment diamond programme. The company will conduct an appropriate assessment, Nikolaev said.

According to the agency, the value of the gemstone is estimated at more than $ 1.5 million.

ALROSA presented a rare lavender diamond in July 2026. According to experts, the age of the crystal weighing 2.03 carats is about 350 million years. It took him over six months to cut. After the closure of the Argyle mine in Australia in 2020, such diamonds have become extremely rare, and their price has quadrupled over 20 years.
