Golden autumn will remain in Moscow until the end of October, and the actual weather is now behind the climatic calendar by about two weeks, said the leading specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Evgeny Tishkovets.
“In the coming week, weather conditions, despite the cold snap, will correspond to the status of “late” grandmother’s summer!”.
The weather in Central Russia will be determined by the blocking anticyclone of Scandinavian origin. In Moscow, low-cloud weather with abnormally high atmospheric pressure will be established: on Tuesday it will reach 768 mm Hg, about 1.5 mm below the 1987 record. On Monday night, the temperature will be plus 5-8 degrees, in the afternoon - plus 8-11. On Tuesday night, the temperature will drop to about zero, in some places weak frosts are possible, in the afternoon - about plus 10 degrees.
On Tuesday, according to Tishkovets, the so-called "communal" autumn will come - a period with an average daily temperature below plus 8 degrees, which usually begins in Moscow around October 6. “Automobile” winter with an average temperature below plus 5 degrees before the end of the month, the weather forecaster does not expect, although according to the climatic calendar it usually comes around October 20. Until the end of the week, dry weather will remain: at night it is expected from zero to plus 5 degrees, in the afternoon - plus 8-13.
“Deep” autumn, according to the forecast of Tishkovets, will come only in early November, when the climate calendar already begins pre-winter. “So, later the Indian summer, of course, will lose its “temperament”, but will still pamper the inhabitants of central Russia with the weather – “million to a million”!”.
At the same time, the forecasts for the second half of the month changed. Forecaster Tatiana Pozdnyakova called October 17 and 18 the last warm weekend of the year and expected by the end of the month night frosts. On October 13, Tishkovets allowed the first snow to fall in the last week of the month and the formation of temporary snow cover.
