Scandinavian anticyclone will bring a cold snap to Moscow

On Monday, October 19, the weather in Moscow will determine the periphery of the anticyclone from Scandinavia, which is now hanging over the east of the Leningrad region. Because of this, variable cloudiness is expected in the capital without rain, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist of the Phobos meteorological center, said in his Telegram channel.

According to the forecast, the capital will cool by 6-7 degrees compared to yesterday. Today in Moscow is expected from plus 9 to plus 11 degrees, and in the region - from plus 7 to plus 12 degrees.

The wind will blow from the northeast at a speed of 4-9 meters per second. Atmospheric pressure will increase significantly and reach 755 mm Hg. - that's above average.

According to the forecast of Leus, tomorrow rainfall in Moscow is also not expected. The night temperature will drop to -1 degrees, and during the day will remain within plus 9-11 degrees.
