The interior Ministry recalled the record а450 million stolen from the Muscovite

In Moscow, the largest damage to one victim from the actions of cyber fraudsters amounted to 450 million rubles, reminded the head of the Department for combating cybercrimes of the capital’s interior Ministry Anton Kononenko.

Our opposition has been carried out since 2019. There were different numbers during that time. The largest amounts amount to several hundred million rubles. The record is 450 million rubles, he said (quoted by TASS).

He told about the record theft last autumn.

Earlier, Kononenko specified that the record-breaking fraudulent attack in Moscow lasted a year and a half: the victim repeatedly transferred money to the attackers even after contacting the police and initiating a criminal case.
