In Moscow on the night of Tuesday, October 20, the temperature for the first time this season will drop to near-zero values, and in the suburbs are expected to freeze to minus 3 degrees, said the leading specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Evgeny Tishkovets.

According to the weather forecaster, the cooling is associated with the strengthening of the influence of the Scandinavian maximum and its displacement to the middle latitudes. On Tuesday night, the temperature zone from zero to minus 5 degrees will spread from the Gulf of Finland to Western Siberia and from the south of Pomerania and Komi to the Middle Volga region and the Southern Urals.

On the eve of Tishkovets predicted in Moscow about zero on Tuesday night and sometimes weak frosts, while the daytime temperature should be about plus 10 degrees. Forecaster Tatiana Pozdnyakova also allowed the temperature in the capital region to drop to minus 2 degrees per night on October 20, and in the afternoon - from plus 8 to plus 13 degrees.
