The SFR reported an increase in pensions for unemployed in 2027

In 2027, the size of the monthly old-age payment to unemployed pensioners in Russia will increase by 2.4 thousand rubles. - up to 30.2 thousand rubles, said the Chairman of the Social Fund Sergey Chirkov. His words are cited by the press service of the Fund.

The increase in pensions will affect 37.5 million people, in annual terms, the increase will be comparable to the “thirteenth pension” at the level of 28.8 thousand rubles, the report said.

By June 1, about 40.45 million pensioners were registered in the Social Fund system - almost 409,000 less than last year. Of these, the number of unemployed decreased by more than 1.03 million and amounted to 32,043 million people. The number of pensioners continuing to work increased by 621,000 people to 8.403 million.

In Russia as a whole, according to the Social Fund, in July 2026, the size of the pension of unemployed citizens for old age reached about 27.85 thousand rubles.

In seven Russian regions, including the Murmansk, Magadan regions and the Kamchatka Territory, the average pension for unemployed people exceeded 35 thousand rubles. The highest figure was recorded in Chukotka - 43.9 thousand rubles.
