Textbooks for the fifth grade will go to schools before the end of 2026, and students will begin to study a new subject from January 2027. Benefits for the sixth and seventh grades will be delivered by September 1, 2027, Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov said.
According to him, the content of the course is built around 17 values enshrined in presidential decree No. 809 of November 9, 2022. “The content of the course ... reveals them consistently – from small actions to conscious social responsibility – through examples of heroes,” he said.
Each hero will be dedicated to a separate video, a link to which will be placed in the corresponding paragraph of the textbook. For teachers of a new subject, the Ministry of Education organized work on the implementation of advanced training programs.
