Budennovskiy inter-district court of Donetsk imposed an administrative fine to blogger Ivan Zolo (real name — Ivan Zolochevsky) for public demonstration of symbols of an extremist organization, reported in the press service of the court.
"Citizen Z. was found guilty ... for publicly demonstrating the symbols of an extremist organization," the court said.
Ivan Zolo is a Russian blogger, streamer and musician. He became known for his videos on TikTok and co-broadcasts with blogger Nekoglai on Twitch, and since 2021 began to release music.
The reason for the proceedings was the t-shirt of the blogger, in which he appeared in a video on TikTok and YouTube. The court considered that the image on it was a symbol of the “International Satanism Movement”, whose activities were declared extremist by the Russian Supreme Court.
On October 19, blogger Ivan Zolo drew up an administrative protocol for demonstrating satanic symbols (“The International Satanism Movement” is recognized in Russia as an extremist organization and is banned). 22-year-old Zolochevsky was detained on October 18 during a concert at the club and taken to the police Department. The reason was a video he published in 2022: on the recording he was wearing a T-shirt with satanic symbols. Footage of the attack of the blogger showed the interior Ministry.
