In Sevastopol introduced schedules of blackout
In Sevastopol introduced a schedule of temporary power outages.
In Sevastopol introduced a schedule of temporary power outages. This was reported by the Governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhaev in the Telegram channel. He explained that at night power engineers were working to restore power supply, and by two o'clock in the morning managed to return the lights to almost all areas of the city. However, there was an overload in the morning and new restrictions were introduced.
Currently, there is a schedule of temporary shutdowns “3 through 3”. This is necessary to stabilize the power grid and prevent more serious accidents.
“Now I have given instructions to limit the power supply to industrial facilities and shopping centers as much as possible, as well as to review other options for reducing the load on the grid. The released capacity must first be directed to residential buildings. This is our main priority, Razvozhaev stressed.
Technical limitations of the system do not allow to completely remove the load only at the expense of industrial facilities, said the Governor. Therefore, from 12:00, a schedule of temporary outages for the first and second queues is introduced, but not all addresses will fall under restrictions.
We are doing everything possible to provide electricity to as many residential buildings as possible and minimize inconveniences for Sevastopol residents. Therefore, a big request: if you were given electricity, do not turn on all devices at once, Razvozhaev said.
On the night of October 24, adviser to the head of the Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov reported an accident on the power grid outside the peninsula. Later, he announced the restoration of electricity supply on the peninsula. “As the power is gained, all settlements will be connected,” Kryuchkov wrote in the Telegram channel.
On the same day in the Crimea imposed restrictions on the supply of electricity and water due to an accident on the main power grids. Up-to-date schedules of shutdowns are published on the official information resources of relevant departments and administrations, said the head of the republic Sergey Aksenov.
In August, after damage to power infrastructure, Sevastopol was also left without power.
