The Ministry of Transport announced the expansion of the route network of direct flights connecting Russia with other countries. This is due to the transition to the winter flight schedule.
New destinations will be flights from Aqaba (Jordan) to Moscow from Royal Jordanian and from Aleppo (Syria) to Moscow from Syrian Air. Thus, the number of countries with which Russia is connected by direct flights has increased to 39.
Passengers will also have more options for flights to Egypt, Thailand, China, Sri Lanka and the Maldives from different Russian airports. For example, you can fly from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Harbin, the press service of the Ministry of Transport added.
The autumn-winter schedule of civil aviation of Russia will be valid until the last Saturday of March 2027.
In September, a direct flight from Russia could fly to 38 countries.
