Escaped at the airport of Krasnodar cat Vasily returned to the mistress in Batumi

The cat Vasily, who escaped from the carrier at Krasnodar airport on September 24, was found and sent to the hostess in Batumi, the press service of Red Wings airline reported.

“This story finally has the finale that we have all been waiting for: the cat Vasily flew safely to Batumi and was reunited with his family,” the statement said.

In September, Red Wings reported that the cat got out of the carrier and ran away at Krasnodar airport. The hostess Ksenia learned about the incident while already on the plane, she told the publication “Arguments and Facts”. According to her, she was offered two options: to continue the flight without a pet or refuse the flight.

The search for the animal did not yield results for a long time. According to the newspaper, Ksenia personally examined the territory of the airport, but it was not possible to find the cat. In late October, Vasily was discovered by an employee of the ground service. By the time, as explained in an interview with AIF sister Xenia, the cat had lost weight and a little limp.

Red Wings contacted the owner Vasily, who confirmed that the cat was her pet, after which the airline helped organize the flight.

According to Red Wings, during the flight Vasily was in a separate passenger seat and felt good.
