Forecaster warned of heavy rain and snow in Moscow

About half of the monthly rainfall can fall in Moscow per day, from 13 to 14 November, said the leading specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Evgeny Tishkovets.

“During the day, from 09.00 (Moscow) on November 13 to 09.00 (Moscow) on November 14, 28 liters of celestial water will fall into the sedimentary, which is about 50% of the monthly rainfall!”.

According to him, on Saturday, November 14, a cold atmospheric front will come from the north-west, which will bring heavy downpours turning into wet snow. During the day can fall up to 16 mm of precipitation.

The air temperature on Saturday will be from plus 1 to plus 4 degrees. Against the background of precipitation, temporary snow cover up to 1 cm high can form, which subsequently melts.

On Sunday, November 15, the weather will improve. Before dawn, the temperature will be from minus 1 to plus 2 degrees, in the afternoon the air will warm up to plus 2-5 degrees, which is higher than the climatic norm.

Earlier, the leading specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Mikhail Leus said that November 2026 is expected to be close to the climatic norm in temperature. According to his forecast, from 11 to 20 November, the temperature will be 1-2 degrees below normal, the amount of precipitation for the month will be 80-90% of the usual level.
