Agrarians of the Leningrad region collected by October 19 37.3 thousand tons of vegetables from the fields

In the press service of the Committee on agriculture of the Leningrad region shared fresh news directly from the fields. By October 19, farmers in the region had already harvested grain from 33.7 thousand hectares and from 1000 hectares 37.3 thousand tons of vegetables.

Farmers removed 33.7 thousand hectares from the fields of the 47th region, which is 92% of the plan. The total harvest amounted to 147.9 thousand tons, of which 135.7 thousand tons remained after completion. Yields were 44.1 and 40.4 centners per hectare. 8.5 thousand hectares were removed, which almost completely fulfilled the plan (99%). We harvested 19.5 thousand tons of crop, which is also almost in line with expectations (97%). On average, 23.4 centners of rapeseed were collected from each hectare.

Vegetables: Cleaning was carried out on an area of 1 thousand hectares, which is only 55% of the planned volume. The harvest in the amount of 37.3 thousand tons, which also corresponds to 56% of the plan. The yield on these sites reached 373 centners per hectare.

Potatoes: harvested 1.3 thousand hectares, which is 59% of the planned. The harvest in the amount of 37.3 thousand tons, which is 62% of the plan. The yield was 284 centners per hectare.

111.4 thousand hectares of forage land have been cut, which is 91% of the planned volume. 1 million tons of silo were harvested, which corresponds to 83% of the norm. For each conditional head of cattle there are 25 centners of feed units, which is 1% higher than the plan. We managed to collect 932 tons of fruits and berries.
