Farmers of Orel region transferred to the budget almost 180 million rubles of taxes

In the Orel region for 8 months of this year, the payers of the unified agricultural tax — ESHN — transferred to the regional budget 179.2 million rubles. According to the regional Federal Tax Service, this is 1.9 million rubles higher than the same period last year.

Currently, there are 728 entities applying this tax regime in the region. ESHN is available not only to producers of agricultural products, but also to companies providing specialized services in the fields of crop and livestock breeding.

The main condition for the transition to this regime is the share of income from agricultural activities, which should be at least 70% of the total revenue. The use of ESHN allows businesses to reduce the tax burden, since payers are exempt from a number of standard taxes, and the rate itself is 6% of the difference between income and expenses.
