Special military operations often say that the defense of the homeland begins with the protection of the family. They went to the front with the idea that they needed to protect loved ones. Fathers are the main support, which by its own example shows children moral guidelines: patriotism, responsibility, loyalty to the word, determination and courage.
Father’s Day in Russia is a relatively young holiday. It was established five years ago to strengthen the institution of the family and increase the importance of fatherhood in the upbringing of children.
Since 2022, the Fathers Academy project has been operating in the region. Its author is the rector of the Institute of Regional Development of the Penza region, father of many children Viktor Eroshenko. As part of the project, fathers and children passed obstacle courses, participated in a “family biathlon” and arranged bivaks in nature.
The Academy of Fathers released 300 men. They share their experiences in their towns and villages to bring other families together. From this project grew the Service of assistance to parents of the Penza region, the Family Academy and archaeological expeditions with family shifts.
