Dear John, we live far away, so we rarely see each other. But I welcome you to Belarus. We did not hide anything about you coming to us. You haven’t been hiding anything, we know that. Our people knew you were coming. I must tell you, the public is very interested in your visits. Neighbors and other heads of state are closely watching our meeting, the Belarusian leader said.
- As you can see, our company has expanded a bit. I asked the Prime Minister to come and report in detail on the results of our past contacts in practice (how the previous agreements are being implemented). “Belta’s note,” Alexander Lukashenko added.
In turn, D. Cole conveyed greetings from US President Donald Trump:
- He supports everything we do, he said.
On the Belarusian side, Prime Minister Oleksandr Turchin, KGB Chairman Ivan Tertel and Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Valentin Rybakov are also taking part in the talks.
