Artur Parfenchikov opened a branch of the public volunteer movement of Karelia “10 Region” in Petrozavodsk

Now volunteers will work in the capital of the republic in a new, spacious building. The craftsmen will make shrapnel suits and camouflage nets. One of the rooms will be adapted to the workshop for the manufacture of trailers.

The participants of the movement “10 region” began volunteering four years ago – in October 2022 in Kostomuksha. Under a single flag of the “10 regions” united different teams supporting the soldiers of the SVO from Karelia – “Field Kitchen”, “Heat of Hearts”, “Silver Volunteering”, “Victory Networks”, “Victory Seamstresses”. Now more than 600 people work under the auspices of the movement throughout Karelia, 28 volunteer points operate - from Loukhsky to Pudoga district.

On October 23, Artur Parfenchikov opened another branch of the 10 Regions in Petrozavodsk. There is already a sewing shop, plans are to launch a workshop for the manufacture of trailers. In one of the premises, a museum space will be opened, where excursions will be held for everyone.

The head of Karelia thanked the volunteers for their readiness to help the servicemen.

“Things, clothes, products in which volunteers put their souls bear special warmth and care and remind of home and loved ones,” the Head of the Republic emphasized. The new room is the resource that the head of the movement asked us for in Kostomuksha, and we were able to quickly find, transfer and help equip it. I am sure that life will boil here and things will be produced that are so in demand by our fighters.

The opening of the center will allow the organization to attract new volunteers and increase the number of products produced.

- The new building will be comfortable to work, said the head of the movement “10 region” Elena Zezyulchik. The front is changing dynamically, new requests appear – we need shrapnel suits. Here we will launch the production of such vests, we will also sew camouflage nets.

Volunteers of the “10 region” help 17 sponsored units from Kursk to Kherson – paratroopers, motorized riflemen, tankers, artillerymen, as well as the volunteer unit “Veterans”.

From January 2025 to October 2026, volunteers of the 10 Regions purchased, independently manufactured and handed over 18 vehicles and motor vehicles, more than 3 thousand boxes of freeze-dried lunches - this is 185,390 portions, more than 7.5 thousand individual dressing bags, 10 evacuation carts "Anyutka" of their own production, more than 250 units of sewing production (protective cloaks, camouflage suits, stretchers), more than 2.9 thousand camouflage networks.
