Chairman of the Minsk City Council, Chairman of the Council of the Minsk City Branch of the Belarusian Party “White Rus” Artem Tsuran visited Grinroznitsa LLC on October 14. He spoke about the key directions of state policy, city projects and plans for the future, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.
The main topic of the meeting was the preservation of traditional Belarusian values: family, society and the state. Alexander Tsuran stressed that Belarus is a social state, one of the priorities of which is to protect and strengthen the institution of the family.

- It is marriage, family and continuity of generations that form the spiritual foundation for the development of our society.
According to him, the traditional foundations, which have served as a support for society for centuries, are now subject to revision and destructive external pressure. In these circumstances, the protection of the institution of the traditional family becomes a strategic national interest for Belarus and a key element of national security.

The most important element of family support in Belarus is a socially oriented system of protection of motherhood and childhood. She is recognized as one of the best in the world. A. Tsuran also cited the data of the latest population census: almost 10% of large families in Belarus, and 57% of families have one child.

Then the Chairman of the Minsk City Council spoke about the work of the deputy corps and councils of territorial public self-government. He paid special attention to civil initiatives. Residents pay 10% of the cost of the project and 90% of the budget. Citizens themselves decide what equipment to install and how to equip the yard. After installing the equipment, people usually organize a "Dirt Festival" with animators, concert numbers, contests for children and master classes. Tsuran also mentioned the sessions of the City Council, which approve the budget, the investment program of the city and other documents.
Separately, he focused on youth policy. The City Council has a Youth Council. Among the ongoing projects are the International Forum of Young Parliamentarians and the Best Young Specialist of the Year.

He also informed employees about the development of infrastructure in the city. In particular, on the reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities, the construction of new ones and the reconstruction of existing interchanges, he separately focused on the development of urban passenger and personal electric transport.
A separate topic is the development of electric charging infrastructure. In Minsk adopted a concept for the development of electric refueling. Currently, 30,269 electric vehicles are registered in the capital. There are 24 cars per electric charging station. When building new stations, the distribution of slow and fast charging will be taken into account. It is important that in residential buildings, on green areas and pedestrian connections charging stations will not.

After the meeting, A. Tsuran got acquainted with the work of the store. He was shown a meal room, a classroom that the company had created specifically for the Minsk Trade College to take students to practice.
The meeting turned out to be rich and touched upon various aspects of the city’s life – from family values to specific infrastructure solutions.
