Artyukhov congratulated transport workers of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug on their professional holiday

Governor Dmitry Artyukhov congratulated employees of road and urban passenger transport on the professional holiday celebrated on the last Sunday of October. The head of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug stressed that specialists have to work in conditions of prolonged winter, snowstorms and difficult routes. The region continues to update fleets, purchase modern buses and develop the road network.

“Working in Yamal is always a test of strength. Long winter, blizzards, difficult tracks and winters - in such conditions, only true masters of their craft can work. There are no secondary roles in your industry. The driver, mechanic, dispatcher – the comfort and safety of Yamal residents depend on the accuracy and discipline of each of you, Artyukhov said.

More than 1.2 million trips have been made in Salekhard since the beginning of the year. On the eve of the holiday, more than 50 drivers noted certificates and letters of gratitude in the district capital.
