In September 2026, the share of refusals on applications for retail loans amounted to an average of 79.2% in the country. This is reported by the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI).
In the Saratov region, local residents were refused in 79.4% of cases. In the neighboring Samara region, the percentage of refusals is lower - 78.1%, in the Orenburg region above - 80.7%. The high percentage of refusals in lending to the NBKI is explained by an increase in the requirements of banks to the quality of credit histories of future borrowers.
