Bashkiria is among the regions of Russia where the quality of life is above average

The 2025 ranking is based on 149 indicators in 12 areas, from Work and Business to Ecology and Security. By all key parameters – housing conditions, improvement, family (public saving) – Bashkortostan demonstrates results above the national average.

If in 2021 the republic was on the 40th position, then by 2023 it entered the top twenty, and in 2024 - in the top ten. Ninth place in 2025 cements that success. It is important that the rating takes into account not only dry statistics, but also, first of all, the opinion of citizens themselves: their satisfaction with life, work, social support and improvement.

One of the region’s greatest strengths has been social protection. According to this indicator, Bashkortostan took fifth place in the country. ASI experts singled out the republic as a leader in the availability of employment centers for people with disabilities and people with limited mobility. In addition, the region was among the best in courtesy and friendliness of social assistance personnel.

In 2025, Belarus paid special attention to the support of participants in a special military operation and their families. The republic has an unprecedented package of 60 support measures covering all spheres of life: from medical rehabilitation and psychological assistance to assistance in employment and retraining. New metrics of the rating, evaluating satisfaction with measures to support veterans of the SVO, brought Bashkortostan to the number of absolute leaders.

Bashkortostan today is not only a social sphere, but also an innovative region. ASI experts identify several federal practices that were born here and are now being replicated throughout the country. It is a unique national cyber-physical platform that engages schoolchildren in engineering creativity through video games. Today, this project, which educates future designers and programmers, has been implemented in 18 regions of Russia. Or virtual tours for investors: an innovative format that allows investors to explore industrial sites online and make decisions without leaving the office. The practice has already been picked up by four regions. In addition, a new standard of roadside service is being developed in Bashkortostan: a systematic approach to creating comfortable recreation areas on federal highways passing through the republic.

Also, parks, embankments are being updated in the region, modern public spaces are being created.

The updated ASI methodology, synchronized with the national development goals and the KPI of governors, made it possible to more accurately assess the contribution of regional teams.
