The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed to report on the investigation of the case related to the violation of the rights of residents of two emergency houses on January 9 in Voronezh. People still have not received new housing, although the original deadline for relocation expired in July 2026.

Both buildings were built in 1953, and in 2021 they were officially declared uninhabitable. Since then, the condition of the houses has continued to cause concern among residents. According to them, the foundations are destroyed, roofs leak water, cracks appear in the walls, and the electrical wiring is in poor condition.

Despite the deadline for resettlement, the issue of providing new housing remains unresolved. The appeals of residents did not lead to the expected result, so the situation was interested in the investigative authorities.

Earlier, the regional department of the IC opened a criminal case, but the prosecutor's office canceled this decision. The attempt to appeal the cancellation of the result did not bring, after which the criminal case was re-opened.

Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Voronezh region Mikhail Selyukov to submit a report on the progress of the investigation and measures taken to restore the rights of citizens. Enforcement
