Belarus and Russia will soon complete the coordination of the rules for the functioning of the unified electricity market. This was stated by the Minister of energy Denis Moroz, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

- This is a rather complicated process, because it affects the serious national interests of each country. We currently have a signed agreement. And literally in the near future they should finalize their agreements by signing the rules according to which the relevant market will work, Moroz said on the air of ONT TV channel.
A key feature of the future joint market will be the interaction of business entities of the two countries on the exchange of electric energy. According to the Minister of Energy, this will improve the reliability and availability of electricity in both countries.
