The library fund of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Library was replenished with books “Genocide of the Belarusian People”, “Belarus”. Tragedy and Truth of Memory" and "Razam! Sluggish Peramoga.

The meeting of V. Pertsov with the first deputy governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Andrei Gneushev was held in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin on the eve of the show of the Belarusian requiem concert “Every third”. V. Pertsov noted that the visit has a pronounced humanitarian orientation.

- We came here with a special humanitarian mission – we brought to Nizhny Novgorod our most emotional performance, a requiem concert “Every Third”. It is dedicated to the tragedy of the Belarusian people: we show that every third inhabitant died during the Great Patriotic War, and, unfortunately, this figure is not final, Pertsov said. It is this pain of our people that we want to convey. I hope that today's performance will make the younger generation think first of all about these lessons of history.

Alexander Gneushev, in turn, called the Republic of Belarus an important strategic partner of the region, stressing that the parties not only exchange experience, but also jointly preserve historical memory.

- We are united not only by deep economic and cultural ties, but also by a common history, the memory of the heroic feat during the Great Patriotic War. It is important to pass on from generation to generation how fraternal peoples defended the country, Gneushev said. The publications that appeared in our book fund will be a valuable addition to joint memorial projects. They will help preserve the names of common heroes and pass on to future generations the truth about the feat that we remember and honor together.

As part of his working visit to Nizhny Novgorod, V. Pertsov also visited the Cathedral in the name of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky and got acquainted with the exhibition project “The Great All-Russian” in Warehouses. In addition, the delegation laid flowers at the Eternal Flame memorial complex in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.
