Belarusian developers create a game simulator of the Minsk tram with a realistic ride. The project is planned to be placed on Steam, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.
About the development of the project authors told in Threads. Judging by the published materials, the player will be able to control the tram on the routes of the capital.
- We plan to recreate a realistic management and map of Minsk. The first part of the route in early access will be from Serebryanka to the Tractor Plant, the developers wrote.
In Early Access, the authors do not promise photorealistic graphics, instead focusing on plausible vehicle control mechanics. They said that they will look for tram drivers to help them accurately convey the sensations of driving.

In the comments, future players are already discussing details: for example, one of the users would like to go to the site of Z. Byaduli Street. May Day and switch the arrow with a crowbar. The developers replied that the scrap will really come in handy already at the release, but elsewhere.
More distant plans include adding tram lines that no longer exist today.
- There is an idea after recreating all existing lines to make lines that were once planned: for example, from Serebryanka to the station across Oktyabrskaya Street, Trostenetskaya Street and Rokossovsky Avenue, the developers noted.
The project will be available in Belarusian, but the authors have not yet called the release date of the game and the exact date of the project’s appearance on Steam.
