President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh during a working visit to Belarus visited the Life Safety Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Minsk. He was shown interactive platforms, Belarusian firefighters’ equipment and rescue equipment. The choice of the center for visiting is not accidental: the experience of Belarusian rescuers, scientific developments and solutions of domestic enterprises that may interest foreign partners were collected here.

Experience of the security centre
Belarus has been acquainting foreign delegations with its developments in the field of security for several years. The school has been praised by the President of Ghana. He was impressed by the capabilities of the complex and how people are trained in emergency situations.

Today, the center has become a platform where the knowledge and experience of different departments are combined. It's not just about fires. Visitors are told about environmental, transport and industrial safety. Special attention is paid to historical memory: there are exhibitions dedicated to the genocide of the Belarusian people and the liberation of Belarus.
Nearly 40 interactive zones were placed on four levels of the building. With the help of modern technology, visitors are immersed in conditions close to a real emergency. All classes take place in a safe environment.
This approach allows you not only to hear the rules, but to understand how to act in a dangerous moment. The practical orientation of the center was one of the reasons why it was included in the program of the visit of the leader of Mongolia.
Minister of Emergency Situations of Belarus Vadim Sinyavsky noted that the guest was shown a comprehensive system of training in the basics of safety, especially for children:
- I hope our Mongolian friends were surprised that we could organize such work in Belarus. And this is not the only center: there are only ten of them. We also go to schools and places of mass stay of children to teach children the basics of safety.

According to the Minister, the President of Mongolia has a personal professional interest in this topic: at one time he headed the rescue agency of his country. Therefore, the guest was shown not only training grounds, but also equipment, equipment and some elements of the work of rescuers in emergency situations.
Rescuers for Belarus and other countries are being trained here
The center is part of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The university trains specialists for the rescue department and receives students from abroad.

The University participates in international rescue training programs. It is the basic organization for training specialists from the CIS countries. It also conducts courses through the International Civil Defense Organization and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. International standards are also used in the preparation, including INSARAG, which operates under the auspices of the UN.

The center and training sites of the university show how the educational opportunities of the country work not only for domestic tasks, but also for international cooperation.
Belarus has already trained specialists from Mongolia at the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to Vadim Sinyavsky, they highly appreciated the training system. The Belarusian side is ready to continue this work and develop cooperation with Mongolian colleagues.
Equipment that protects lives
One of the important parts of the program was the demonstration of Belarusian developments for rescuers. The head of Mongolia presented combat clothing of firefighters. The equipment is tested at its own certified landfill. Specialists check how it meets the quality requirements and withstands the conditions in which rescuers work. After that, the clothes are used in the real service. Every day, thousands of Belarusian rescuers take up duty in domestic equipment.

This is not just a matter of import substitution. The safety of a person who enters a smoke-filled room or works in a dangerous area depends on the reliability of clothing. The rescuer should be able to complete the task and return home to his family.
Belarusian equipment is also beneficial for foreign customers. Import analogues are much more expensive, although they do not exceed domestic developments in quality. The combination of price, testing and experience of daily use makes Belarusian products interesting for international partners.

Vadim Sinyavsky said that the President of Mongolia was handed over a set of equipment so that he could evaluate it from a professional point of view. The Minister expressed hope that familiarity with Belarusian developments will help to promote them at the international level.

From development to engineering in the service
Fire and rescue equipment were placed on the open area of the center. Its creation was an example of cooperation between the state and private business.

In the development and production involved the company "MAZ", the company "Pozhsnab" and the Ministry of emergency situations. The agency forms requirements for technology, participates in the development of solutions and then uses machines in everyday work. This approach helps to test new solutions not only at the design stage, but also in real conditions of service.
Over the years of joint work, experience has been accumulated that may interest foreign countries. We are talking not only about the machines themselves, but also about the technologies of their creation, organization of production and reliability testing. For rescuers, it is especially important that the equipment works without failure, remains stable in difficult conditions and helps to quickly cope with tasks.

The development of this direction is already yielding concrete results. Belarus has already delivered 75 vehicles based on MAZ chassis for rescue units to Mongolia. A new contract is currently being worked out.
Science, production and people
The visit to the center allowed to show the President of Mongolia several aspects of the Belarusian potential. It presents the developments of scientists, the capabilities of domestic enterprises and the experience of specialists who daily use equipment and equipment in the service.

Behind each product is testing, practical testing and work of people. State-owned enterprises and private companies create equipment, scientific organizations develop new solutions, and rescuers test them in case. This approach helps to improve products and find opportunities for its promotion abroad.
