Belarusian tourism sector expands cooperation with China: Minsk hotel will host the first group from China

Targeted work of enterprises of the tourism sector and the hospitality sector is bearing fruit, including at the level of business entities. A recent example was given in the Republican Union of Tourist Organizations (RSTO). It's reported by sb.by.

- Next week, the Victoria Olympus Hotel in Minsk will host the first group of Chinese tourists. At the tourism exhibition COITM 2026, which is taking place these days in Beijing, a partnership agreement was signed between the Business Center "Capital" (a network of hotels and restaurants "Victoria") and the Belarusian-Chinese Center for Culture and Development. The first group of Chinese tourists will visit the Minsk hotel as part of the agreement.

The RSTO, citing a group of Victoria hotels, also noted that the agreement was a logical continuation of the memorandum signed in 2024:

- It opens new horizons for the reception and quality service of tourist groups from China, the development of business, medical and sports tourism, the establishment of direct contacts between tour operators and hotels of the two countries. More than 200 thousand Belarusian tourists visited Turkey in January - August 2026
